Specific research functions
The Professor will be engaged in applied, clinical and translational scientific research, in the field of internal medicine, more particularly in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory and/or autoimmune diseases. He will also have to coordinate and conduct clinical trials in the field of internal medicine. He will be asked to coordinate local, national and international research groups on internal medicine diseases, also participating in congresses, projects and collaborations with national and/or international institutions, as well as by attracting research funds.
Specific teaching functions
Teaching activity will be carried out within the reference scientific-disciplinary sector, MED 09 Internal Medicine, on the basis of the annual planning approved by the Department Council.
Specific assistance functions
The Professor, internal medicine specialist, will be required to possess organizational skills in the clinical-management field for the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine diseases, in the clinical-assistance management of internal medicine patients with multiple or complex diseases in terms of diagnosis and treatment.
